Responsibilities
- Clean dishes: Load dishes into the dishwasher, wash fragile items by hand, and dry and put away clean dishes
- Clean kitchen: Clean kitchen appliances, walls, and floors, and sanitize areas beyond the kitchen
- Empty trash: Empty and clean trash receptacles, and rinse garbage cans
- Maintain organization: Put away dishes and cookware in designated storage areas, and stock supplies
- Help others: Assist other staff members with tasks, such as unloading deliveries and setting up the dining room
- Follow food safety: Adhere to food safety and sanitation guidelines to prevent illness
- Communicate: Use verbal communication to determine which dishes to wash and where to put them
Requirements:
- Previous experience in bussing, food service, or hospitality preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
