Pipe Layer/Bottom man/ Top man

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Pipelayer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of pipelines, ensuring that all work is completed safely and efficiently. This role requires a strong understanding of utility locating, as well as the ability to operate various machinery and tools related to pipeline construction.

Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain pipelines for water, gas, and other utilities.
• Utilize equipment such as backhoes, bulldozers, and front loader trucks to assist in pipeline installation.
• Conduct utility locating to ensure safe excavation practices.
• Operate pipe lasers to ensure proper alignment and grade of pipelines.
• Perform concrete finishing work as needed for pipeline installations.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time while adhering to safety regulations.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good working condition, reporting any issues as necessary.

Requirements

• Drivers license
• Proven experience in pipelaying or a related field is preferred.
• Knowledge of pipeline construction techniques and safety standards.
• Familiarity with utility locating practices is a plus.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand project specifications.
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Physical stamina and the ability to work in various weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47.00 - $50.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 – 60 per week
