What are the responsibilities and job description for the Presales Solutions Consultant position at KamisPro?
This full-time hybrid (West Hartford, CT) position will provide pre-sales support, including demonstrations, prototyping, proof of concepts, and participation in customer implementations with the Implementation Team. In understanding the solutions, this individual will identify complementary propositions to generate additional revenue. When working on projects, this individual will work with customers and internal stakeholders to capture business requirements and design and configure well-conceived software solutions using our tools.
Management of Pre-sales Activity/Demonstrations/Other Sales Support
- Offer full pre-sales support across the US, and UK (provisional and the London Market) and Global Markets
- Manage the requirements for in-depth product demonstrations on-site and on-line • Assist the Sales Team in presenting the company and product at the highest level
- Own, coordinate input, and respond to RFI’s and RFP’s and present the company and solution to both customers and prospects
- Become a business expert in key areas of product functionality for OWIT Global: Insurance Data Management (Bordereaux, SOVs, Loss Runs, DUA) and Insurance Process Management (Portals, POS, and future PAS-related functionality)
- Provide insight into market opportunities and advise product enhancements and changes
- Build “demo packs” and associated business content, including educating the team as to scripts
- Assist in configuring products, data capture, and workflows for prospect demonstrations
- Work with management, SMEs, and sales to review the core, development, design direction/function and add value
- Identify potential beta clients in the sales phase who may be willing to co-develop solutions
- Identify and assist in third-party relationships that provide bolt-on/integrated third party solutions for customers/prospects
Implementation Support
- Identify and translate customer business needs into clearly defined business requirements and create documentation, including process flows, data flows, wireframes, etc., to facilitate requirements validation.
- Design and configure Bordereau Processing Solution using proprietary microservices toolset to meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to finalize project plans and estimates.
- Actively participate/contribute to brainstorming/working sessions with a focus on continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with development and testing teams to provide subject matter expertise.
- Review and validate test plans.
Job Requirements
- Minimum BS or BA
- Background in software solutions or services
- P&C Insurance Knowledge – Portal, POS, data transformation, and Bordereaux across policy, claims, and cash processing
- A&H Insurance knowledge a plus
- Understanding of the UK P&C Insurance Market, London Market and US Markets
- Software configuration skills
- Previous Pre-Sales experience and excellent presentation skills
- Attention to detail • Superior verbal, written, and organizational skill sets
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
