Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Workday Payroll Implementation Consultant to lead the design and implementation of the Workday Payroll module. This 4–6 month contract role focuses on configuring and deploying Workday Payroll, integrating Workday Time Tracking and Project Tracking to optimize payroll and time management processes. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure successful implementation, compliance, and alignment with organizational needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the end-to-end implementation of the Workday Payroll module, including configuration, testing, and deployment.
- Collaborate with HR, finance, and IT teams to analyze payroll requirements and develop tailored solutions.
- Configure and integrate Workday Time Tracking and Project Tracking with the payroll module to streamline time and project data for payroll processing.
- Provide expertise on Workday configuration tools, including pay policies, pay codes, earnings/deductions, and business rules.
- Ensure compliance with payroll tax regulations and organizational policies throughout the implementation process.
- Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, providing post-implementation support as needed.
- Develop and deliver training to end-users to ensure smooth adoption of the Workday Payroll system.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Workday Payroll Consultant or in a similar role, with a track record of successful implementations.
- In-depth knowledge of Workday Payroll, including configuration, workflows, and business rules.
- Strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Hands-on experience with Workday Time Tracking and Project Tracking is highly advantageous.
- Workday Payroll certification is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze complex requirements and deliver effective solutions.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with diverse stakeholders.
- Familiarity with integrations between Workday Payroll and external systems (Oracle ERP) is a plus.
- Ability to work independently and manage project timelines in a fast-paced environment.
