CNC Laser Operator

Laser Operator - Job Summary:

Overview:
Operate the laser machine, inspect parts, load materials, and maintain equipment during the 3rd shift.

Key Responsibilities:

• Machine Setup & Operation: Prepare and adjust the laser machine based on plans. Load and align materials.
• Quality Control: Inspect finished products for quality and troubleshoot errors.
• Maintenance: Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of the machine.
• Workplace Safety: Keep a clean and safe work area.

Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to operate or learn to operate laser machines.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• Forklift training is a plus.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Preferably 1 year of experience in metal fabrication, but willing to train.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Additional Info:
Experience with sheet metal lasers is preferred, but training will be provided for the right candidate.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
