Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Safety Supervisor to join our team in McDonough, GA. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, implementing, and enforcing safety policies and procedures to ensure a safe workplace. This role includes monitoring employee compliance with safety regulations, investigating workplace accidents and injuries, and providing safety training and education. The Safety Supervisor will also inspect equipment, machinery, and work areas to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a key resource for the organization by fostering positive working relationships, delivering courteous service, and appreciating the contributions of co-workers.
- Maintain a safe work environment that meets the quality and production standards set by management.
- Develop and implement comprehensive safety plans and procedures.
- Conduct risk assessments and safety audits to ensure compliance.
- Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and preventive measures.
- Provide safety training and instruction to employees.
- Ensure adherence to safety regulations and compliance standards.
- Monitor and evaluate safety performance metrics.
- Pursue ongoing professional development through seminars, workshops, and technical courses.
- Implement and support all company policies, safety programs, and good housekeeping practices.
- Document and communicate team actions, irregularities, and ongoing needs effectively using verbal and digital communication methods.
- Ensure a safe and healthy work environment by following established standards and complying with legal codes and regulations.

Education Requirements:
- Bachelors Degree in Occupational Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Hygiene, or a related field is preferred, or equivalent work experience.
- Certification in safety management (e.g., Certified Safety Professional (CSP), Associate Safety Professional (ASP), OSHA certifications) is advantageous.
Required Skills:
