Description
The Flagstaff KOA is a beautiful mountain campground set at 7000 feet among tall ponderosa pine trees at the base of the San Francisco Peaks. We are looking for enthusiastic and outgoing people to join our recreation team. Located off Route 66, The Flagstaff KOA is just an hour from the beautiful Red Rocks of Sedona and Oak Creek Canyon, an hour and a half from the South Rim of the Grand Canyon and a short 15 minute drive from Northern Arizona University. We are open year-round offering camping in RVs, Cabins, Deluxe Cabins, tents & Teepees. Our goal is to create a great camping experience for our guests by offering excellent customer service. Working Hours:
- Seasonal May 1 – October 31
- 10-20 hours per week
- Most hours on the weekends and evenings
- Schedules can be from 7am-9pm including split shifts
- Monday-Sunday depending on the occupancy of the campground
- $17.85 and up depending on experience
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Ensures customers receive a high level of service consistent with our customer service philosophy
• Learn and operate Campground Management system
• Communicate with all staff and management using Microsoft Teams
• Leads and participates in scheduled events and activities which may include athletic, craft, social, and instructional activities
• Responds to inquiries from camping guests
• Coordinates with all staff to help resolve guest complaints
• Efficiently participates in set-up and break down equipment for guest activities
• Performs basic maintenance and cleaning, as needed on recreation equipment
• Conducts pre and post trip inspections of bicycles to verify safety and proper operations
• Help to coordinate the maintenance of all equipment used for recreational activities
• Operate various types of standard office equipment, including a personal computer and related software
• Participate in team training sessions
• Complete various duties as assigned by manager which can include but are not limited to: light janitorial duties, assisting other departments in completion of tasks, overall support in daily performance of the campground

• Be on your feet during shift and able to lift at least 30 lbs.

• Enthusiasm and knowledge in the following areas is highly desirable; sports, arts, music and outdoor activities
