- Use your expertise and diagnostic tools to evaluate vehicle codes, repairing and maintaining diesel systems and engines
- Assist with establishing service center procedures for tracking repair status, maintaining technical documentation
- Carry out routine vehicle maintenance tasks
- Conduct in-depth vehicle inspections of all systems
- Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction and repeat business
- Convey necessary vehicle repair information with accurate record keeping to Service Advisors
- High school diploma or GED is required
- An associate degree or completion of an automotive service technician training program is preferred
- ASE certification is preferred, but we can help you get your certification
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Professionalism and can work well with others
- Strong customer service and communications skills are required
- Prefer at least 3 years experience

As a Diesel Automotive Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing vehicles. You must be comfortable using the shop computer software and have extensive knowledge of diesel vehicle systems.
