The Technical Customer Project Manager is responsible for overseeing the implementation of AMI/AMR systems according to the Kamstrup Project Model. This role involves managing projects from the late negotiation phase to final acceptance, ensuring successful deployment, customer satisfaction, and adherence to project plans and budgets.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for an ambitious Technical Project Manager who is passionate about delivering value-adding solutions to our customers and naturally takes on a leading role.

To succeed in this role, we envision that you:

• Oversee the deployment of AMI systems from the sales stage through operational handover either as a prime contractor or as a subcontractor through distribution channels.
• Manage customer projects in close collaboration with Internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide technical software and hardware training and support during the project phase.
• Ensure compliance with AMI contracts, project plans, and budgets.
• strong problem-solving skills to address and resolve project challenges and technical issues promptly.
• Utilize project management tools such as Gantt charts to plan, track, and manage project tasks and timelines.
• Ability to support the distributor project manager and end-user in the deployment of the Kamstrup product.
• Participating in customer visits.
• Develop and enhance project team capabilities to support US growth.
• Follow quality guidelines and ensure adherence to project standards.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with customers, team members, and stakeholders to ensure project alignment and success.
• Support the bid/RFP process and deliver presentations to customers and potential customers as needed.

PERSONAL & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS, COMPETENCIES AND EDUCATION

• 5 years' experience managing external projects in a technical environment.
• Bachelor's degree.
• Master's degree and/or PMP certification (desired but not required).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Presentation skills.
• Good technical and economic understanding and interest.
• Hands-on approach.
• Strong Customer Service experience.
• Excellent verbal, written, and technical communication skills.
• Ability to travel domestic and international up to 50%.
