At Dycom Industries, Inc., as a Senior IT Project Manager, you’ll facilitate the successful delivery of projects for all of Dycom’s lines of business. This includes the leadership of key internal technical and business-driven initiatives, partnership with portfolio teams for feasibility planning and resource allocations throughout initiation, development, and delivery.

What you’ll do as a Senior IT Project Manager
Work with senior management and project stakeholders to establish clear project scope, objectives, business value, deliverables and success criteria to implement efforts that align with our strategic goals
Facilitate the team’s performance on project objectives and effectively manage / communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders
Employ agile approaches to optimize timelines and resource allocation, pivoting quickly when requirements change
Define, monitor, and report project progress and challenges against deliverables while proactively managing changes in project scope, schedule, and cost
Contribute to our continuous improvement culture by sharing lessons learned for each project, and capitalize on stakeholder and team feedback to improve the process throughout project cycles
Support and guide staff and associates, sharing best practices and feedback where appropriate to the team
Contribute to the planning, execution, communication and compliance of key PMO initiatives / standards
What you’ll need
To be 18 years of age or older
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or management information systems and / or 7 years equivalent work experience
Must have 5 years experience managing Telecom, Software Development, Infrastructure and / or Acquisition projects
Certifications a plus (PMP, PgMP,, CSM, ITIL V4, AWS Certs, or PMI-ACP)
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to senior management
Strong collaboration, team-building and mentoring abilities
Ability to develop executive-level documentation, manage risk logs, and handle nuanced stakeholder needs
Skilled at evaluating estimates, challenging timelines, breaking tasks down, writing requirements and optimizing delivery schedules
Experience with vendor management, procurement and business contract reviews such as SOWs, MSAs, etc.
Strong familiarity with project management software, such as Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, and Microsoft Project
