The Kanawha County Public Defender Office is seeking qualified applicants for the position of full-time Assistant Public Defender. Applicants must be licensed to practice in West Virginia or eligible to be licensed by full admission, reciprocity, or Rule 9 of the West Virginia Rules for Admission to Practice. Experience is preferred but not required. Starting salary is $62,000 and can commensurate with experience to $90,000.
