Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Facilities Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in facilities maintenance and possess a variety of technical skills to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities. This role requires a proactive approach to problem-solving, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on facility equipment and systems, including electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems.
- Conduct inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Respond promptly to service requests from staff and management, providing exceptional customer service at all times.
- Collaborate with other technicians and departments to complete projects efficiently.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment or systems as required.
Experience
- HS diploma or Vocational school education or equivalent knowledge required.
- Six month’s experience in general maintenance work with some experience in operating light motor driven equipment or any combination of education and experience which demonstrates possession of the required knowledge, skills and abilities.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
