Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring that all areas are safe, sanitary, and welcoming. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors to ensure a clean environment.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing and waxing to maintain the appearance of surfaces.
- Handle custodial duties, ensuring all areas are tidy and well-maintained.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by restocking supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
- Respond promptly to cleaning requests or emergencies to uphold safety standards.
Experience
- GED or high school diploma required.
- Previous experience in cleaning is required.
- Two years experience in custodial services or facilities maintenance will be advantageous.
- Ability to read and respond to emails.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness and safety standards in the workplace.
