UG Maintenance Foreman - Owl Shift
Accountabilities :
Supervise the maintenance / electrical function for the area of the mine assigned. Maintaining equipment in ready, permissible condition there-by reducing down time and increasing cost effectiveness.
- Maintain the mine electrical system in safe permissible condition.
- Direct the electrical repair work to ensure safe efficient completion.
- Supervise all maintenance to mobile and stationary equipment in assigned area.
- Maintain communication equipment in operable condition.
- Regular permissible checks on all electrical equipment.
- Oversee the preventive maintenance program for assigned area.
- See that all electrical / maintenance reports required by law or company policy are completed.
- Regular inspection of equipment to ensure operating condition and removing from service for repair when required.
- Order parts and supplies for repair work.
- Participate in the evaluation of equipment life as to rebuilds or replacements.
