What are the responsibilities and job description for the In-Home Caregiver (Floater with 35 hrs Guaranteed) position at Kanawha Home Health?
EXPERIENCED CAREGIVER NEEDED to work as a FLOATER. Applicant will be required to travel throughout Kanawha, Putman and Logan county to provide assistance to members as needed. Insurance own vehicle required to transport clients to appointments. QUARTERLY BONUS MILEAGE REIMBURSEMENT.
DUTIES:
- Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing
- Provide assistance with mobility and transfers
- Help clients with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks such as laundry and tidying up
- Assist with medication reminders
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
EXPERIENCE:
- Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or similar role is required
- Knowledge of basic personal care techniques and practices
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Compassionate and patient demeanor
