Role Description:
As a Sidewalk Crew Member, you will be responsible for clearing snow and ice from sidewalks to ensure safe pedestrian access during the winter season. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working outdoors and are committed to providing a high level of service. Working as part of a small team, you will help ensure that sidewalks are clear and accessible for our customers, no matter what the weather throws at us.
As a Sidewalk Crew Member, you will be responsible for clearing snow and ice from sidewalks to ensure safe pedestrian access during the winter season. This role is perfect for those who enjoy working outdoors and are committed to providing a high level of service. Working as part of a small team, you will help ensure that sidewalks are clear and accessible for our customers, no matter what the weather throws at us.
Required Qualifications:
- Valid Driver’s License and clean driving record (MUST)
- Reliable transportation and attendance
- Ability to be on call for winter storms, including nights and early mornings
- Experience with snow removal equipment (snow blowers, shovels) is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Capability to work in various weather conditions (snow, rain, wind) and perform strenuous physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs
- Ability to tolerate cold and demanding weather conditions
Responsibilities:
- Clear snow and ice from sidewalks using company-owned equipment (snow blowers, shovels)
- Work with team members to ensure safe pedestrian pathways for customers
- Inspect all areas to ensure high-quality results and customer satisfaction
- Complete necessary paperwork or data entry as required
- Be on call during snowstorms to ensure snow removal operations run smoothly
- Follow company safety protocols and work efficiently in varying weather conditions
