The Opportunity
We are excited to be hiring a Staff Product Designer with a deep passion for creating exceptional user experiences, specifically within the security domain. As a strategic designer, you will be a critical player in shaping the security features and customer journey at Kandji. Reporting directly to the General Manager of Security Products, you'll partner with a team of talented product managers, engineers, and designers, driving innovation and technical excellence. Your expertise will be instrumental in defining and executing the design strategy for our macOS-centric security offerings.
How You Will Make a Difference Day to Day
- Design and document user flows, wireframes, high-fidelity mockups, and prototypes that enhance the user experience, focusing on critical security features and user journeys.
- Use data-driven insights, including user research, analytics, and customer feedback, to inform design decisions and create user-centered security solutions.
- Advocate for the end-user by ensuring every design decision improves usability, accessibility, and the overall security experience.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers, and other designers to iterate on design concepts and refine the security user experience.
- Dive deep into user needs and workflows, identifying opportunities to streamline processes and simplify complex security interactions.
- Participate in user research activities, such as usability testing and customer interviews, to validate design decisions and iterate based on feedback.
- Maintain a high standard for design quality and consistency, ensuring all deliverables align with our overall product vision.
- Balance big-picture thinking with attention to detail, ensuring that every aspect of the security user experience is thoughtfully crafted.
