Summary
The Client Services Manager is responsible for ensuring high-quality service delivery across assigned programs (such as Pre-Vocational Services, ISP, AFH, Daily Living Skills, and Community Employment). This includes managing support staff, coordinating client services, developing program tools and activities, and maintaining compliance with all regulatory and funding body requirements. The Manager works collaboratively with KANDU teams, families, and funding sources to guide clients toward greater independence and employment success.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Support & Program Coordination
- Develop, implement, and monitor client service plans and progress.
- Provide training in employment, including job coaching and systematic instruction.
- Coordinate with DVR, care teams, guardians, and other stakeholders to ensure services align with client goals.
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant documentation, including case notes, progress reports, and legal/medical records.
- Assist clients with accessing community resources.
- Respond to and document critical incidents, behavioral issues, and medical concerns.
Staff Supervision & Management
- Supervise and support direct service staff, including interviewing, hiring, scheduling, PTO/timecard approval, and performance management (evaluations, coaching, disciplinary action).
- Provide training to support staff and other departments on behavior strategies and effective service delivery techniques.
- Ensure coverage and staffing needs are met across assigned programs.
Operations & Compliance
- Uphold and model KANDU’s mission, vision, and values in daily operations.
- Track and maintain all required client consents, authorizations, and compliance records.
- Ensure compliance with DVR, MCO’s, and other regulatory or funding requirements.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Special Education, or a related field, OR 3–5 years of experience working with individuals with disabilities in a similar setting.
- Valid driver’s license, insured vehicle, and ability to pass a caregiver background check.
- Functional knowledge of behavior support principles and person-centered planning.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with adults with developmental disabilities.
- Excellent problem-solving, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Comfort with flexible scheduling, including occasional evenings or weekends.
- Ability to lift 40 lbs and perform physical job coaching duties when needed.
Work Schedule:
Hours Mon-Fri 7:30a-4:00p, ability/ requirement to flex hours based on client needs.
Pay Rate is $20-$22/hour Based on Experience
