Position Description: Teach and work with students whose primary needs are emotional or behavioral in nature, and whose needs cannot be successfully met in a traditional public school setting. With the use of intervention techniques and individualized instruction aims to help students develop self-management skills, effective decision-making, problem-solving strategies, and improved interpersonal skills.

Position Qualifications
- Illinois Licensure (see https://kaneroe.org/licensure/ for more information):
- LBS1 or special education endorsement
- Qualified to teach middle school
- Bachelor’s Degree in special education or related field
