Key Responsibilities:
· Supervise daily production operations during the third shift, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
· Manage and motivate production staff, providing guidance and support to ensure team success and adherence to company policies and procedures.
· Oversee the implementation of safety standards, ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
· Monitor production processes, adjusting labor, resources, and processes as needed to meet targets and maximize productivity.
· Assist in maintaining production schedules and meeting deadlines to ensure timely completion of all production goals.
· Ensure that quality control standards are met consistently throughout the shift.
· Collaborate with the maintenance team to ensure equipment is running efficiently and downtime is minimized.
· Assist in managing inventory and supplies, ensuring adequate stock levels for production needs.
· Review and analyze production reports to identify areas for continuous improvement.
· Implement best practices for operational efficiency and employee safety.
· Foster a positive and collaborative team culture, prioritizing open communication and employee development.
Qualifications:
· 3 years of experience in a production management or supervisory role, preferably in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
· Proven experience leading and managing teams to meet production goals and ensure quality.
· Strong knowledge of safety protocols and compliance regulations.
· Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced environment.
· Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
· Ability to work third shift, with flexibility to adjust schedules based on operational needs.
· Basic understanding of equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
· High school diploma or equivalent required; a degree in operations management or a related field is preferred.
· Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work in a production environment.
