What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical and Instrumentation Technician position at Kane Partners LLC?
We are looking for an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to work for a high-volume manufacturing company.
· Performs inspections, adjustments, cleaning, and calibrating services ensuring all equipment is in satisfactory working order
· Provides routine preventive maintenance on a variety of industrial equipment
· Assists with new instrument installs including wiring, terminations, check-out and start-up
· Utilizes instrument calibration equipment for start-up, troubleshooting and routine calibrations
· Provides trouble-shooting and restoration services as needed relative to all associated process equipment/systems
· Maintain and repair electrical systems, PLC I/O, Standalone Controllers, PID Loop Tuning, VFD Install and Startup/Troubleshooting, wireless sensors
· With core skills in E & I, mechanical knowledge, and industrial maintenance, you will excel in tasks such as calibration, working with programmable logic controllers, and interpreting schematics
· Facilitate and assist in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of premature failures, offering solutions and implementing corrective actions preventing reoccurrence
· High-level efficiency of hand tools, power tools, drill presses, grinders, etc.
· Knowledge of safe working practices with rotating and high voltage machinery
· Understanding of National Electric Codes
