What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrical & Instrumentation Technician position at Kane Partners LLC?
Kane Partners is on the search for an Electrical & Instrumentation Technician for a growing production company making recycled products for everyday use.
· Evaluate, repair, adjust, and maintain equipment, and rebuild and install as required industrial machines used in manufacturing and production operations
· Ensure machines perform to specifications by conducting tests; modify and fine tune machines as needed
· Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service
· Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service
· Strong electrical diagnostic and troubleshooting skills are required to effectively repair and maintain all automated and sensing equipment as required
· Setup and maintain all robotic material handling/feeding systems
· Insure the safe and efficient operation of all automated equipment including Form/Fill/Seal equipment as necessary
· Experienced with Single-Phase and Three-Phase motors
· Experienced with VFDs, HMIs, electrical switch gear and PLCs – including programming
