We are a nationally respected construction materials manufacturer seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Engineer to support and optimize plant electrical systems. This role requires sharp troubleshooting skills, a deep understanding of high-voltage systems, and a proactive approach to minimizing downtime.
What You'll Do
· Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems (motors, drives, transformers, switchgear, power distribution)
· Implement and refine PM/PdM programs to ensure equipment reliability
· Support PLC/DCS systems (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Honeywell)
· Collaborate with operations and maintenance teams to ensure continuous uptime
· Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and drive safety compliance (OSHA, NEC, NFPA 70E)
What We’re Looking For
· Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (or similar – required)
· 2 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience
· Proficiency with high and low voltage systems, power distribution, and drives
· Strong working knowledge of PLCs, DCS, schematics, and CMMS
· Ability to work on-site in Clifton, NJ
· Must be authorized to work in the U.S. (no OPT/CPT/H-1B)
Nice to Have
· Medium- and high-voltage system experience
· Certifications: PE, CMRP, or ISA CCST
· Union environment familiarity
