What are the responsibilities and job description for the Electrician Foreman position at Kane Partners LLC?
Our client is actively seeking a skilled Electrician Journeyman / Foreman with 10 years or more experience in the Commercial and Industrial industry. The Ideal candidate would be responsible for overseeing electrical projects and team members, reading and understanding electrical drawings, communicating with colleagues and tradesmen, documenting work progress, and finalizing testing of all systems. Experience with all Electrical Codes and NFPA 70E experience for Life safety and fire alarm scopes.
Responsibilities :
Reading electrical drawings and assigning work to team and confirming the work is completed correctly.
Ordering materials in advance of scheduled work on the project.
Reporting on project deficiencies to provide change orders or alternate solutions.
Managing and mentoring inexperienced workers.
Requirements :
- 10-15 years’ experience in Commercial and industrial electrical projects.
- OSHA 10 minimum prefer OSHA 30.
- Expertise in reading single lines, panel, and fixture schedules.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Experience working on voltages 0-600V AC and current ratings up to 6000AMP’s.
- Understanding of grounding requirements for electrical systems.
