Position Summary: We seek an Industrial Electrical Maintenance Engineer to enhance electrical reliability and maintenance. This role focuses on Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), Motor Drives, PLCs/DCS systems, and high, medium, and low voltage power distribution. The ideal candidate is hands-on, safety-focused, and experienced in troubleshooting and maintenance leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
· Ensure an incident-free work environment, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
· Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local regulations, overseeing contractor work approvals.
· Lead maintenance activities for VFDs, Motor Drives, and PLCs/DCS systems, ensuring efficiency and reliability.
· Troubleshoot and maintain high, medium, and low-voltage systems for large industrial equipment.
· Develop maintenance teams, manage budgets, and optimize repair costs with Purchasing.
· Promote technical excellence and professional development through training initiatives.
Qualifications:
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or equivalent.
· Experience: 3-5 years in maintenance engineering within industrial manufacturing, preferably with large rotating equipment and high-voltage systems.
· Skills: Expertise in electrical power and control reliability, managing VFDs, Motor Drives, and PLCs/DCS systems. Lean Six Sigma is a plus.
· Attributes: Strong sense of urgency, ownership mindset, and ability to meet deadlines.
Compensation & Benefits:
· $100,000 – $130,000 annually, based on experience.
