Kane Partners is searching for a Maintenance Technician for a Food Production company in the Greater Reading area.Key Responsibilities : - Perform routine and preventive maintenance on production equipment, conveyors, motors, and other machinery to minimize downtime.- Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues with production equipment.- Inspect equipment to detect faults or malfunctions, providing timely corrective actions.- Assist with the installation and setup of new machinery or equipment.- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulatory requirements (e.g., OSHA, food safety regulations).- Collaborate with the production team to ensure efficient machine operations and troubleshooting of issues that arise during production.Qualifications : - 5 years of experience in maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or food production environment.- Strong knowledge of industrial equipment, machinery, and systems.- Proficient in troubleshooting electrical and mechanical systems, including PLCs (Programmable Logic Controllers).- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.- Familiarity with food safety regulations and GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) is a plus.
