What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Technician position at Kane Partners LLC?
We are looking for a Maintenance Technician experienced with maintenance and repair of fixtures and equipment to ensure the safe operation of systems throughout the facility.
- Awareness of PLCs, low and high electrical voltage, and 24 VDC – 480 VAC
- Install, test, and maintain electrical or electronic wiring, equipment, apparatus and fixtures, using hand tools and power tools
- Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components using test equipment and hand tools to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem
- Follow SOP’s to maintain a safe working environment
- Perform needed maintenance on equipment and direct support of production operating needs
- Troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facilities equipment
- Evaluate equipment operation and suggest necessary action when malfunctions occur, or improvements are needed
- Ability to repair / rebuild industrial machinery such as motors, compressors, pumps, gear boxes, hydraulics
- Ability to read and interpret industrial documents and electrical drawings
