Key Responsibilities:
· Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the maintenance team, promoting a culture of collaboration, growth, and accountability.
· Regulatory Compliance: Ensure the facility adheres to all relevant safety and environmental regulations.
· Technical Expertise: Provide guidance and solutions for maintenance challenges, overseeing the successful execution of projects and initiatives.
· Budget Management: Oversee budgets for capital expenditures, maintenance repairs, and energy use, ensuring financial efficiency.
· Continuous Improvement: Drive initiatives to enhance production uptime, reduce costs, and improve equipment reliability.
· Reporting and Monitoring: Track and report on project progress, safety metrics, work orders, and energy consumption.
· Safety Practices: Enforce and advocate for safe working practices to protect employees and preserve assets.
Qualifications:
· Experience: Minimum of 5-10 years in paper converting or manufacturing, with at least 10 years in a management role.
· Education: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
· Leadership: Proven ability to lead teams effectively with a focus on safety, continuous improvement, and strategic thinking.
· Problem-Solving: Strong decision-making skills with a proactive approach to resolving issues.
· Work Environment: Comfort with the demands of a factory setting, including exposure to noise, temperature variations, and humidity.
Additional Information:
· Work Schedule: 8-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, with on-call responsibilities
