The Role:
As Plant Controller, you’ll be the financial backbone of our operations, ensuring every dollar is accounted for while providing key insights that drive strategic decision-making. This is not just about crunching numbers about shaping the financial future of a business at the forefront of market innovation. Your responsibilities will include:
· Owning month-end close processes and delivering variance analysis to drive smarter business decisions.
· Leading forecasting (weekly, monthly, annual) and budget planning to ensure top-tier financial performance.
· Investigating cost trends and providing actionable insights to optimize operations.
· Managing balance sheet reconciliations and internal controls to maintain compliance and integrity.
· Overseeing inventory accounting to ensure every piece of the puzzle is in place.
· Collaborating with leadership to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
· Supporting internal audits and ensuring compliance with US GAAP and industry regulations.
· Preparing financial reports, operational insights, and strategic presentations.
· Driving continuous improvement, embracing change, and upholding integrity in everything you do.
What You Bring to the Table:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration (manufacturing experience is a plus!).
· Proven track record in cost accounting, financial analysis, and strategic forecasting.
· Strong ERP experience (Epicor-AVP preferred).
· A master of the general ledger with a solid understanding of GAAP and audit procedures.
· Exceptional communication skills—you can explain financial results in a way that everyone understands.
· Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and process manuals like a pro.
· Attention to detail that’s second to none.
· A can-do attitude with a hunger for success and continuous improvement.
