What are the responsibilities and job description for the Security Guard position at Kane's Furniture Corporation Career Center?
Kane's Furniture LLC is seeking a Part Time Security Guard for our Corporate Office/Distribution Center in Pinellas Park. The Security Guard maintains a safe and secure environment for customers and employees by monitoring and patrolling the premises.
Responsibilities will include:
- Securing the premises and personnel by patrolling property; inspecting buildings, equipment, and access points; permitting entry.
- Monitors incoming and outgoing vehicles and trucks, inspects cargo areas for any irregularities
- Obtaining help by sounding alarms, when appropriate.
- Prevent losses and damage by reporting irregularities; informing violators of policy and procedures; restraining trespassers.
- Controlling traffic by directing drivers.
- Maintaining environment by monitoring and setting building and equipment controls.
- Maintaining the organization's stability and reputation by complying with legal requirements.
Schedule: Mondays 1 pm - 6 pm, Saturdays 5 am - 1 pm, and flexibility to cover security as needed outside of routine schedule.
