Kane Selection is representing a Nationally renowned Heavy Equipment Dealer, looking to recruit an individual with experience in managing a service team, parts team and the individuals that report into those disciplines.
The Operations Manager will be pivotal in recruiting, training, and managing the service and parts team, serving as the foundation of customer success. This success will be achieved through the delivery of timely, high-quality, and efficient proactive and reactive services.
The role demands strong leadership to rebuild, refocus, and align the team's efforts, driving the transformation of service delivery to ensure exceptional customer outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage field and shop technicians to deliver on customer needs and exceed expectations.
- Provide service technicians with all necessary tools and resources to perform their duties effectively.
- Oversee the timely opening, completion, and billing of work orders to maintain operational efficiency.
- Stay informed on current safety protocols, product offerings, and departmental objectives to align with company goals.
- Ensure strict adherence to company safety standards by parts and service personnel.
- Take responsibility for assigned tasks, productivity targets, and the financial performance of the branch.
- Facilitate and monitor the completion of all required training for technicians.
- Ensure timely and accurate completion of all administrative functions.
- Maintain supervisory oversight of facilities, equipment, and the yard to ensure operational readiness.
- Support branch operations by taking on additional duties as assigned.
