You’ll work closely with our AI/ML team (including top researchers in AI for games) to integrate AI-generated game logic into a seamless, real-time multiplayer arcade experience. Your work will bring our 3-round rule-based battles to life, ensuring addictive, polished mechanics that captivate players and scale for future growth. What You’ll Do
- Design and implement 2D arcade-style games (e.g., platformers, shooters, racers) using a game engine like Unity, Unreal Engine, or Godot.
- Build real-time multiplayer systems for 1v1 battles, ensuring low latency and smooth synchronization via technologies like WebSocket or Photon.
- Integrate AI-generated game rules, assets, and logic into the game engine, ensuring balanced, engaging 3-round matches (Rounds 1–2 player-ruled, Round 3 AI-decided).
- Optimize performance for web and mobile platforms, focusing on fast load times and responsive gameplay (2–5 minute rounds).
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to craft an ancient, divine-themed interface (e.g., "Power of Gods" branding, POG trophies, leaderboards).
- Test and iterate on gameplay mechanics, ensuring playability, fairness, and fun based on player feedback and AI outputs.
- Contribute to future scaling plans, preparing the game engine for 4–8 player matches and broader game types.
Who You Are
- Experience: 3 years in game development, with at least 2 projects in arcade or multiplayer games using Unity, Unreal, or Godot.
- Skills:
- Expert in C#, C , or GDScript, with deep knowledge of game engine architecture.
- Proven track record in real-time multiplayer implementation (e.g., WebSocket, Photon, Firebase).
- Strong understanding of 2D graphics, physics, and animation for arcade-style games.
