Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Java Developer with GCP expertise and a strong background in healthcare revenue cycle management. The ideal candidate should have experience working with healthcare intermediaries, EDI transactions, and eligibility verification (EDI 270/271).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain Java-based applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
- Work on healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM), focusing on claims processing, eligibility verification, and payments.
- Integrate and work with healthcare intermediaries to process EDI transactions.
- Develop and enhance EDI 270/271 transactions for eligibility verification.
- Implement and optimize APIs for healthcare data exchange.
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare data security standards.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to refine requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve GCP infrastructure and Java application issues.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 5 years of Java development experience with a focus on enterprise applications.
- Strong hands-on experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services.
- Healthcare domain expertise, specifically in Revenue Cycle Management (RCM).
- Working knowledge of healthcare intermediaries and third-party integrations.
- Experience with EDI transactions (especially 270/271 for eligibility verification).
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Microservices, and Spring Boot.
- Familiarity with cloud-native development, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL databases for healthcare data storage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with FHIR, HL7, and other healthcare data standards.
- Knowledge of BigQuery, Pub/Sub, and Dataflow for processing healthcare data in GCP.
- Previous experience working with payers, providers, or healthcare clearinghouses.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5-8 years of professional experience in Java development and cloud-based applications.
