Job Details
We are seeking an experienced Senior Developer with a minimum of 6-8 years in software development, specializing in Java development, microservices architecture, and cloud solutions. This position is based in Nashville and is ideal for an individual passionate about delivering high-quality, scalable solutions within an innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain high-quality Java-based microservices applications.
- Utilize Spring Boot framework features such as dependency injection, data access, transaction management, and security.
- Deploy and manage scalable applications using Google Cloud Platform (Google Cloud Platform) services, including Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE), Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Cloud Pub/Sub, BigQuery and Dataflow.
- Experience in implementing distributed messaging and real-time stream processing using Apache Kafka and Google Cloud Pub/Sub.
- Build and maintain automated tests (JUnit, Mockito) ensuring robust application quality.
- Design, implement, and optimize relational and NoSQL databases. NewSQL database experience is a plus.
- Use Git for source control management and collaborative development.
- Ensure secure microservices architecture through effective network security and API best practices.
- Implement and manage monitoring and logging solutions using Prometheus and Grafana.
