CUSTODIAN DUTIES FOR SUMMER MIGRANT PROGRAM

June 10 – July 24,2025, Monday – Thursday 8:00-2:00, Kankakee High School Location
Rate Of Pay
$22.00 Hourly
Areas of Responsibility
- Overall cleanliness of building
- Maintenance of building grounds; grass cutting, trimming, parking lot and entrance cleanup
- Correlating of all work assignments, building set up for activities, etc.
- Maintenance of pool filtration and chemical equipment
- Daily cafeteria and kitchen lunch program
- Daily cleaning of restrooms
- Auditorium on an as needed basis in assistance to night cleaning for special events
- Hallway maintenance throughout school day
- Ordering of custodial supplies
- Open required doors for faculty, cooks and students
- Turn on all required building lighting
- Raise the flag
- Maintain restroom supplies
- Distribution of supplies and materials
- Maintain classroom cleanliness (as well as in cases of ill children)
- Any other duties which the director may assign for the smooth operation of the program
- Position is dependent on grant-funding**
- Preference will be given to those who have previous successful Migrant experience
