60 College credit hours as mandated by NCLB requirements
Bilingual; Spanish-English preferred
Ability to relate with students

RATE OF PAY: Hourly Rate
Performance Responsibilities
- Prepares instructional materials at teachers’ direction
- Grades papers and keeps records as required by teacher
- Provides individual or small group tutoring under teachers’ supervision
- Attends all parent workshops and in-service activities
- Supervises students during non-class time
- Supervises migrant students before and after school, during mealtime, break, field trips and swimming
- Supervises migrant students in classroom and hallways
- Assist teachers in the supervision of instruction of students
- Attend the Statewide MEP Workshop and local workshops
- Preference will be given to those who have previous successful Migrant experience
- Teacher aide must be able to attend the Illinois Statewide Migrant Education Workshop prior to the start of the program
