We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Paralegal to join our legal team. Duties
- Assist attorney with case preparation by gathering relevant information and documentation.
- Manage legal case files using Smart Advocate software to ensure all documents are properly organized and accessible.
- Conduct legal research to support case strategies and prepare reports as needed.
- Provide executive administrative support, including scheduling meetings, maintaining calendars, and handling correspondence.
- Proofread legal documents for accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
- Assist in the preparation of court filings and other legal documents.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information while adhering to ethical standards.
- Support clients through the process by preparing necessary documentation and providing updates.
- Collaborate with attorneys on cases
- Perform clerical duties such as filing, scanning, and data entry to maintain an organized office environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in Smart Advocate or similar legal case management software.
- Strong understanding of various areas of law, particularly property damage law.
- Excellent executive administrative support skills with a focus on organization and time management.
- Exceptional proofreading abilities to ensure accuracy in all legal documents.
- Strong legal administrative skills with attention to detail in managing case files.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team while also being self-motivated.
