This position will be responsible for the day-to-day HR functions of the ERG’s respective offices. In addition, this position requires a strong ability to work in a fast paced, team-oriented environment.

Position Summary
The Employee Relations Generalist (ERG) will work closely with both the Chief Human Resources Officer and Human Resources Regional Manager. Essential Job Functions
- Conduct thorough and objective investigations into workplace complaints (e.g., harassment, discrimination, misconduct) and recommend appropriate resolutions.
- Provide guidance and interpretation of company policies and procedures to employees and management, ensuring consistent application across the organization.
- Assist managers in addressing performance concerns, including developing and administering Performance Improvement Plans (PIPs) and corrective actions.
- Conduct exit interviews to identify insights related to employee turnover.
- Maintain accurate documentation of employee relations issues, investigations, outcomes, and reports for compliance and record-keeping purposes.
- Assist with staff/attorney recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, and coordination of interviews.
- Support employee training initiatives and performance evaluation processes.
- Perform data entry of employee information.
- Assist with Paid Time Off (PTO) tracking and reconciliation.
- Coordinate and organize office events and activities.
- Periodically travel to office locations
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Full-time, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, M-F.
- Bachelor’s degree and 3 or more years of experience in Human Resources or 5 or more years or of HR experience in a law firm or other professional services firm.
- Demonstrated human resources experience, strong interpersonal, organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Experience using a HRIS software.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information.
- Exceptional attitude and customer service skills.
- Works well in a team environment
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to multitask
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
