We are seeking energetic, skilled Facilities Maintenance for openings in our facility in Arkansas City, KS.
We operate 24 / 7, 7 days per week. This opportunity will require flexibility to work weekends and overtime.
Shift: 1st Shift (8am-4pm);
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Facilities Maintenance Person to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical maintenance, with experience in field service, HVAC, and industrial mechanics.
Duties:
- Conduct routine and preventative maintenance tasks on equipment, machinery, and facilities to ensure optimal performance and extend the lifespan of assets.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and HVAC systems, as well as high-voltage equipment.
- Perform maintenance tasks using specialized tools, such as ammeters and scissor lifts.
- Fabricate and weld components to repair or replace equipment.
- Conduct routine inspections and maintenance checks to identify potential issues before they become major problems.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including work performed, parts replaced, and equipment tested.
- Collaborate with other maintenance staff to ensure all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime and extend the lifespan of equipment.
- Provide technical assistance and support to other departments as needed.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in mechanical maintenance, preferably in a field service or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, and industrial mechanics.
- Experience with high-voltage equipment and electrical systems.
- Ability to fabricate and weld components using various materials and techniques.
- Experience with scissor lifts and other heavy equipment.
- Familiarity with ammeters and other specialized tools.
- Ability to work at heights and in confined spaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Physical stamina to perform demanding maintenance tasks.
