Job Description
T-Mobile is America’s supercharged Un-carrier, delivering an advanced 4G LTE and transformative nationwide 5G network that will offer reliable connectivity for all. Sr. Engineers, Systems Design located in Overland Park, KS will research, design, plan, develop, and evaluate new, advanced network technologies by translating customer requirements or strategic business objectives into final product design for projects of highest complexity and multiple technologies;
Position duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to :
- perform in-depth assessment of the customer’s networked application needs;
- provide network modeling and simulation testing; consult to further clarify needs, and engineer high-speed technology network transports to deliver application functionality;
- use expanded knowledge and skills for 4G / 5G LTE for deploying both Small Cells Radio Access Network (RAN) and Macro Radio Access Network development testing;
- provide SME level leadership to develop and validate radio technologies faster and more efficiently;
- provide for development of test strategies, requirements, plans, case design and environment configuration;
- perform detailed, but efficient, test execution, root cause analysis, fix validation and test reporting;
- demonstrate leadership skills as required to enable cross-functional communication and collaboration to deliver validated 4G / 5G Macro and Small Cell products to the Network; and
- use professional concepts and company objectives to resolve very complex issues in creative and effective ways.
