Job Description:
We are a small, locally owned behavioral health clinic that focuses on therapy and medication management for our clients. We are looking for a friendly, experienced individual to join our office team. Individuals in this position provide general administrative and receptionist services and submitting/post third party payments/billing for our providers. We offer Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Insurance, holiday pay, and paid time off.
Specific Duties
- Scheduling and checking in current patients and verifying their information.
- Processing and maintaining client records such as initial intake paperwork, outside records, records releases, payment agreements, and other forms.
- Billing and processing payments from insurance companies and clients for services rendered. Working denied claims. Generating monthly statements.
- Processing mail, faxes, records requests, and other correspondence as needed.
Minimum Requirements:
- High School Diploma (or equivalent)
- Prior experience in medical or mental health billing
- Prior experience in mental health office or related field is preferred.
All applicants must have reliable transportation and be able to pass a background check.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.75 - $17.25 per hour
Expected hours: 36 – 40 per week
