JOB SUMMARY
This position provides general guidance and supervision to assigned staff in a designated supervision area. The Early Head Start Supervisor is responsible for the day-to-day training and monitoring of Early Head Start home-based and Early Head Start Classrooms in Liberal, KS.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
STAFF SUPERVISION 45%
* Conduct regular supervision and meetings with staff.
* Complete performance reviews for each staff member supervised.
* Provide support and guidance to all assigned staff with their daily job responsibilities.
* Conduct frequent monitoring tasks to provide input and feedback accordingly to staff, management, and leadership teams.
SITE SUPERVISION DUTIES
* Ensure compliance with HSPPS, KDHE Licensing Regulations, and CCP/DCF requirements (as needed).
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Required
- Bachelor's degree in early childhood education
OR
- Advanced degree with equivalent coursework in early childhood education and early education teaching experience.
OR
- Associates degree in early childhood education or other related field with 2 years of experience working in early childhood. Must be willing to work towards the completion of bachelor's degree.
OR
* Active CDA with 3 years of Head Start Experience. Must be willing to work towards the completion of bachelor's degree.
Preferred
* Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education
* Experience with Head Start
