What You Will Do:
As an AV Sales Consultant, you’ll manage sales opportunities, build relationships, and drive new business in your territory. You’ll consult with clients to understand their needs, recommend solutions, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless project execution.
Sales & Business Development
- Identify, pursue, and maintain relationships with potential customers to grow sales and meet quotas.
- Understand customer needs and recommend AV solutions that align with their goals.
- Stay informed on industry trends, competition, and best sales practices.
- Identify new market segments that would benefit from company products.
Customer Support & Relationship Management
- Address and resolve customer concerns, ensuring a high level of service.
- Maintain a professional image in appearance, communication, and interactions.
- Provide accurate sales information to internal teams for quote and order processing.
Collaboration & Compliance
- Work closely with project management and engineering teams to ensure smooth execution.
- Manage and maintain sales forecast.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
- Regular local, regional, and out-of-state travel required.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2 years Audio-Visual Sales experience preferred.
- Certification in Audio-Visual technology is a plus – CTS preferred.
- Prior outside sales experience, especially in new account acquisition.
- Experience in AV technology sales to K-12, Enterprise, Government, Municipality
- Strong work ethic with perseverance, determination, and self-discipline.
- Keen attention to detail and ability to analyze market data and sales metrics.
- Proven ability to apply advanced selling principles and provide strategic sales advice.
