THIS IS A FULL TIME POSITION (3 DAYS-36 HOURS PER WEEK) FOR AVAILABLE SHIFTS AT OUR EXCELSIOR SPRINGS AND LAKE LOTAWANA LOCATIONS
Job Overview:
This is a uniformed armed security position. Guards are responsible for the safety and security of dispensary staff and facilities. Training and equipment is provided. Guards will be required to obtain an armed security guard certificate through local authorities as well as a MO Medical Marijuana Agent ID.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Secure the dispensary and the employees from threats.
- Patrol the dispensary and perimeter on foot.
- Escort vendors on property.
- Coordinate with delivery agents.
- Monitor security cameras during your shift.
- Respond to emergencies on site.
- Dealing with disruptive or unruly people.
- Observing and reporting activities or behaviors of concern (theft/threats).
- Keep a daily log and write incident reports as needed.
- Safety and accident prevention of staff.
Qualifications:
- Must be a US Citizen and possess a valid driver’s license
- Must be able to obtain a Missouri Marijuana Agent ID
- Honest, friendly and coachable.
- Willing to maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
- Past mobilized experience in the Armed Forces or in public service is preferred. DD-214 required.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $21.50 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
