Position Description:
The RN Float/Admission reports to a Kansas City Hospice Team Manager in the Overland Park office. He/she is responsible for making admission visits and RN float visits, primarily in Johnson, Wyandotte, Leavenworth, Douglas and Miami Counties, and to support the IDT in providing care to patients and families. This position is expected to develop competence and work throughout the organization, and may occasionally assist teams in Missouri.
The Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Requirements:
- Current Kansas and Missouri RN license.
- Minimum of one year experience in caring for actively dying patients preferred.
- Home Health or Hospice experience preferred.
- Ability to work autonomously and use critical thinking skills
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Licensed drivers with reliable transportation and auto insurance.
- CPR certification required.
- Good interpersonal and communications skills are required.
