QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS :
- Bachelors degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent work experience
- At least 5 years of experience building processes that support data transformation, data structures, metadata, dependency and workload management
- At least 5 years of experience writing and optimizing queries and implementing data pipelines
- Expert SQL knowledge and at least 5 years of experience working with relational databases, query authoring (SQL) as well as working familiarity with a variety of databases
- Demonstrated knowledge of Kimball dimensional modeling preferred
- A successful history of manipulating and processing large, disconnected datasets
- Experience with multiple database technologies, including but not limited to : SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MongoDB
- Experience with analytics platforms such as Tableau and Power BI
- Proven ability to process large data sets of unstructured and structured data
- Experience with Python for ETL scripting
- Effective verbal and written communication skills and exceptional problem-solving skills
- Strong business acumen with demonstrated understanding of technology.
