Summary

Duties And Responsibilities
- Serve as the frontline contact for external customers, addressing their inquiries, resolving concerns, and nurturing positive rapport.
- Maintain records of project status, progress, and milestones. Prepare reports offering a thorough understanding of project performance.
- Assist in developing and managing project schedules, collaborating closely with stakeholders to ensure punctual completion in alignment with customer expectations.
- Identify potential risks and actively work to mitigate challenges that could impact project success. Collaborate with the team to devise effective risk management strategies.
- Oversee project budgets, track expenses, and work closely with the finance department to ensure adherence to budgetary constraints.
- Maintain progress tracking, ensuring seamless project advancement even without direct oversight.
- Foster a spirit of teamwork within the group, aiding colleagues and making positive contributions to the team's collective goals.
- Maintain open and clear communication among project teams, stakeholders, contractors, and external customers. Regularly provide updates on project progress and potential hurdles.
- Must have at least 2 years relevant work experience.
- A bachelors degree in construction management, project management, engineering, or a related field, or 2 years of additional experience in construction project management.
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time.
- Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.
- United States Citizenship.
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations).
- PMP certification or its equivalent.
- Expertise in Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS).
- Experience collaborating with Federal Government clientele.
- A background in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
- A track record of successfully managing projects up to or exceeding $10M.
- A solid understanding of project management principles, techniques, and methodologies.
- Exceptional organizational skills with an innate ability to multitask and manage competing priorities.
- Detail oriented; possess professional presence, maturity and judgment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving prowess.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in relevant software tools, encompassing project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
