The Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) Supervisor provides team leadership, guidance, and support in the performance of manufacturing, quality, material distribution and production control in areas of small scope and complexity, which have a link to primary production.
Duties And Responsibilities
- Directly supervises associates and performs other managerial responsibilities including interviewing, hiring, and training associates; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining associates; addressing performance and personnel concerns.
- Facilitates traditional and non-traditional production and material distribution activities.
- Interfaces effectively with NNSA, Quality, Engineering, Union, and other support organizations.
- Assures individual and/or team performance is evaluated in support of team and plant goals.
- Accountable for the training and development of employees to perform necessary operations including conformance to specifications.
- Implements quality policies and delegates and disseminates instructions to staff.
- Coordinates production and inspection schedules, documents changes to meet priorities, and arranging disposition of material.
- Promotes and fosters a continuous improvement mindset.
- Evaluates requirements for equipment, and facilities within the areas of responsibility.
- Exhibits and practices a personal commitment to operational surety and instills the same attitude in hourly personnel.
- Ensures departmental compliance with internal procedures and the regulatory requirements of the U.S. Department of Transportation, Environmental Protection Agency, OSHA, Internal Civil Aviation Organization, Department of Energy, Internal Air Transportation Associates, General Services Administration, and Motor Carrier Safety Act in handling and shipment of hazardous materials.
- Implements and adheres to Honeywell policies, upholds professional standards, and performs all work in accordance with our Honeywell Code of Conduct.
- Bachelor's degree and 2 years of related experience, or Associate's degree and 3 years of related experience, or HS diploma/certification and 4 years of related experience
- Ability to travel as determined by the needs of the business
- Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business
- Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job
- United States Citizenship
- Ability to obtain and maintain, if required for position, a U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) security clearance (some positions require additional DOE designations)
- This position is for 3rd shift.
- Working knowledge of production planning methods and manufacturing and quality operations is preferred.
- May additional certification and/or experience for certain manufacturing departments.
- Understanding of team building and group dynamics including conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate in a diverse work environment.
