Duties And Responsibilities
- Recognized authority within area of expertise with wide versatility of experience and capability.
- Works under general administrative direction occasionally with some latitude for unreviewed actions or decisions.
- Performs project planning and manages project resources, including multiple individuals and disciplines, to achieve quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
- Conducts research and development while writing technical reports for experiments to resolve complex engineering and quality problems involving highly technical and scientific methods.
- Mentors lower-level engineers establishing operating procedures on new products and components.
- Utilizes data to define and recommend new designs, design changes, and alternate designs of instruments, and/or test equipment, to assure product quality and resolve processing, inspection, and design problems.
- Evaluates and implements innovations and technological advances that improve quality, reduce flowtime, improve productivity, and enhance operational surety.
- Interacts with design agency and/or supplier counterparts to resolve moderate to complex design, development, production, and acceptance issues.
- Ability to travel up to 15% of the time.
- Ability to work remote, hybrid, or on-site as directed by management and is determined by the needs of the business.
- Bachelor of Science degree from an ABET accredited program in Engineering or Physics
- 6 years of relevant experience in engineering, analytical, or related technical activities.
- United States Citizenship

- Demonstrates knowledge of manufacturing or quality processes and techniques.
- Demonstrates application of advanced design, development, evaluation, and quality control techniques to complex engineering concepts and projects.
- Demonstrates working without supervision, with latitude for independent action and decision making.
- Demonstrates providing technical guidance, project management guidance, consultative services, and innovative solutions.
