Date Prepared: June 2021

Purpose Of Job

The SAI is the department chairperson and chief instructor of the JROTC unit. The SAI performs the functions of a DAI in a single unit and is therefore responsible for the overall management of the JROTC unit at the school. The SAI is responsible for coordinating with senior school officials, key district personnel and the 3rd Brigade JROTC Directorate to establish procedures relating to the administration, control, and education of students enrolled in the Junior ROTC program.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

  • Manage and conduct the JROTC unit according to school rules, regulations, and policies.
  • Advise school authorities on policy and regulation changes within CCR 145-2.
  • Maintain good relations with school authorities, faculty, and the student body.
